CAMPUS

 

The International School of Zanzibar is situated on the west coast of the island on the edge of the Mazizini residential area. It is five kilometers south of Stone Town, (10 minutes drive) and 2 kilometers from the airport (5 minutes drive). We are also within an hour’s drive of all the beach resorts and tourist attractions.


The school has an attractive, spacious site. Each class from Nursery to year 11 has its own classroom. We also have a fully equipped, modern and up to date Science lab; a specialist language room and a spacious art room. Further to this, we also have a computer room where every student has an individual computer and a fully stocked library. The older students have their own study room with access to computers after school hours.


Within the grounds we have a 25 meter swimming pool, a multi purpose hall with a staging area with space to put on drama and music events. Also, incorporated into the hall is a space for sporting activities, there is room for two badminton courts and other indoor sporting activities. We also have a basketball court, volleyball court, football pitch which also doubles as an athletic track.
