SPORTS

Many of our students enjoy the opportunity to get outside and play structured games with their fellow students after school. Two of the popular options offered by the school are football and floor hockey.

These are offered for children in Primary and Secondary and provide a great chance for the students to develop their fitness, learn new skills and build their ability to collaborate with other students from different classes and age groups. Members of the football club also compete with other schools and clubs in the area and travel to compete with teams from other schools in Tanzania.

Students who are active are better able to concentrate and maintain focus, which has a positive impact on their academic life. This can lead to improved attainment in all other academic subjects.

ISZ Wahoo Swimming Team

The ISZ Wahoos invite you to join our swimming team! We welcome swimmers of all ages who want to keep fit and challenge themselves to be better each time.

The different team programs prepare each swimmer to improve their stroke technique and build endurance. This helps them become stronger swimmers and nurtures in them the value of a healthy lifestyle.

As they progress through the program, swimmers will be competing in swimming galas held all over Tanzania, and even the continent! These events strengthen team spirit and camaraderie, instills discipline and responsibility, and motivates them to become better.
