Hello, I am Miss Laura, a primary teacher originally from Scotland with many years of experience working in Sub-Saharan countries. Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of teaching students in Zanzibar, Dubai and Scotland, spanning from Years 1 to 5. I am thrilled to be back in Zanzibar and very happy to be back with the ISZ community. The school community here is strong and extremely supportive for both staff and students.

Viewing myself as a lifelong learner, I look forward to collaborating with students and parents to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment, where each student can thrive and become a lifelong learner too.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a keen swimmer; therefore, Zanzibar is a glorious environment to live in!
