I was born in the UK, in London, and mostly taught in the West Midlands, England. I have been teaching for 19 years. I have taught in London, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Dar Es Salaam and now Zanzibar. 

My first degree was in Environmental Science, as I always believed that I could help save the planet. As a child, I loved taking my waste to the recycling centre and sorting it into different categories to be recycled, reused, and reduced. I have a passion for STEAM and give good career advice, with a network of support.

I have a passion for music, dance, poetry and spoken word, and I often attend performances and community events. I have an opera singing voice that sounds scary to some. Some science lessons turn into lyrical lessons to help learn harder concepts and embed the key concepts into our brains. I have participated in a lot of voluntary work. I am into outdoor spaces like parks, gardens, forests, beaches, rivers, and canals. I love the peace and quiet that these spaces give you and the abundance of wildlife.
