I began a teaching career with a deep commitment to making a difference in students’ lives, a belief that has remained strong throughout 35 years of service. Each day starts with a positive mindset, as I endeavour to help students develop individually. After qualifying as a teacher in South Africa, I spent nearly 20 years at one school, fostering a rich learning environment. When our own children left home, my husband and I embraced a new adventure, moving to Vietnam for the past six years. This experience developed our own lifelong learning and allowed us to embrace diversity.  Recently, the call to return to African roots drew us to Zanzibar.  Now, I am focused on providing the best possible education at ISZ, committed to the skills development and knowledge acquisition of students. Through passion and dedication, I will continue to try and make a difference and nurture the next generation.
